Artist Bio

Alice is a contemporary abstract and landscape artist working in oil and mixed media. Her paintings are extensively layered and often include subtle mark-making with colorful depth and texture. Much of her work revolves around her interpretation of the wooded setting where she has her studio in Snow, Oklahoma. Each painting is a glimpse into the serene beauty of nature, and creating these works becomes a meditation in action for her. In her art she tries to find the balance between abstract and landscape and is often known as a “colorist”. Alice lives in Snow, Oklahoma with her husband and dog, Ginger.
